Sports promotes healthy bodies, strong character and sound minds. Sports are a very important part of the lives of many youth growing up in America. It not only helps build confidence, teamwork, and companionship but also a great way to relate to youth of other faiths in a positive way.
Revive consists of spiritual programs and events that provide youth an oppurtunity to strengthen our relationship with Allah through prayers inspirational lectures, and bonding activities. Many who attend such events describe it as a life altering experience where they emerge from it feeling much closer to their Creator and feeling the need to be mindful and thoughtful of others.
Retreats are a great way to provide tarbiyah to our youth in a fun and exciting environment. The change in the environment allows for a level of dedication and seriousness, and if the program is done right, it can build character and tarbiyah unlike any other project.
Mentor is an essential aspect of tarbiya, as it helps develop youth workers by providing them role models from whom they can learn. This project will bridge the gap between the older and younger generation. It will nurture their relationship for one another, teach the mentors patience and understanding, and teach youth love and respect.
Invite seeks to engage local youth workers with their communities in building meaningful relationships with people of other faiths, as well as help give society a real understanding of Islam.
Campus Services recognizes the college experience can be a transformational period in the lives of youth.
